Meet the Team of Experts at Cross Accounting

Susan Henderson, Branch & Tax Manager

Atlanta-native Susan Henderson has been able to combine the skills attained in a degree in education followed by coursework in finance and accounting into a teachable approach to serving clients. She joins Cross Accounting as a branch/tax manager with 14 years of private and public accounting and financial planning experience. Susan, who has a concentration in individual and corporation taxation, enjoys helping business owners improve their profitability and position themselves for a better future — all while keeping a sense of humor. “You have to have a sense of humor because this business can be very serious,” she says.

Susan graduated from the University of Georgia with a BS in Education. She then studied finance and accounting at the University of California, Berkeley. After 10 moves to different parts of the country, including San Francisco and Colorado, Susan settled back in the Atlanta area. Since returning four years ago, she has worked virtually for another local CPA firm. Susan looks forward to the camaraderie found in an office environment and being part of the strong, client-focused team at Cross Accounting.

In her spare time, Susan is an avid genealogist and has volunteered as a researcher for historic locations. She loves to travel and has visited 13 countries as far flung and unique as Korea and Bulgaria. She enjoys spending time with family, as well as woodworking and renovating her house.

Bill Lincoln, Regional Manager

Bill Lincoln brings over 20 years of CPA and leadership experience to the BJM network. A native of Pittsburgh, Bill relocated to Atlanta in 2012. After several years of working for larger firms, Bill was introduced to BJM president Neal Bach. “I found Neal to be very approachable and down-to-earth,” Bill commented. “After learning about the team’s aggressive growth plans and meeting the rest of the team, I knew this would be a perfect fit for my career goals.”

As a Tax Manager, Bill is responsible for reviewing tax returns and other client deliverables, developing the team, and enhancing operating procedures. A big priority for Bill will be to utilize technology to improve client service. “We’ll be implementing technology enhancements that improve our efficiency, giving us more time to develop client relationships, so that we can help our clients achieve their goals.”

When not busy in the office, Bill loves spending time with his family. This often includes chauffeuring his 3 children between soccer or tennis practices and games all over North Georgia. He also stays busy with a variety of home improvement projects.
